A different way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo
Remember when we were all stoked that Cinco de Mayo was on Taco Tuesday this year?
This gif is all of us in 2020…
Today, for #GIVINGTUESDAYNOW, Broad Room is raising money for the Sacramento Covid-19 Artist Relief Fund.
Why should you donate to artists?
Artists are 2nd responders in a crisis. They are making masks, advocating for vulnerable populations, educating kids stuck at home, and connecting with disabled folks who are especially isolated during this time.
Artists are also less likely to have dependable healthcare, savings, and are more reliant on events and shows to make money as evidenced by self-reporting from artists in our community who have requested funding.
How can I donate?
