I am excited to announce Broad Room’s Cosmic Library! Cosmic stands for Creative Offerings, Supplies, Mutual aid, Ingredients, and Collaboration.
The Cosmic Library will be a physical space inside the front corner of our Del Paso Boulevard warehouse that will be home to art supplies, feminine hygiene products, a curated selection of clothing, plants, books, magazines, and more donated by and available to our community. The Cosmic Library will embody our values of feminine economy and mutual aid — we will accept trades, sliding scale donations, and volunteer time in exchange for the goods in the library.
We are raising $2,500 to do the build out + get the program started.
The Cosmic Library will be a volunteer run program. The space will have limited hours on weekends, masks will be required to enter, and we will limit the number of people to one group at a time.
Contribute here to help us build a cozy, welcoming space for our community to visit.

Releasing Imposter Syndrome webinar
Imposter Syndrome is a particularly insidious and pervasive phenomenon, especially among artists who identify as women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, non-binary, and/or disabled. It can stunt our growth, keep us from achieving our goals, and silence our voice. In this workshop, we will identify the roots of Imposter Syndrome in ourselves and how it manifests — self-sabotage, perfectionism, and limiting beliefs.Â
We will work through the ways in which existing harmful structures like capitalism, racism, homophobia, and the patriarchy keep us from realizing our potential.Â
This is a donation-based class meaning that you only pay what you can afford. The class will be about one hour long on Saturday July 18 from 1-2pm PDT. If you cannot make it to the class in-person, a recording will be sent out shortly thereafter.Â
